Ladybug cake made for a friend's daughter's blessing. Top to bottom: Ladybug is chocolate cake, funfetti cake with vanilla buttercream, yellow cake with chocolate ganache and chocolate cake with raspberry filling. Fondant covered with fondant and gumpaste accents.

Wedding cake done for a friend. Top to bottom: strawberry cake with ganache filling, white almond sour cream cake with almond buttercream, white chocolate raspberry cake with white chocolate buttercream and layer of raspberry filling, satellite cakes are lemon with white chocolate lemon buttercream filling. Fondant covered, gumpaste flowers.

60th Anniversary Diamond Cake

Anniversary cake for my grandparents' 60th anniversary. Top tier is amaretto cake with almond butter cream filling, middle tier is lemon cake with raspberry filling, bottom tier is triple fudge chocolate with ganache filling. Fondant covered, real ribbon and flowers, and a glass "diamond".  I fixed the crooked ribbon for the third picture. :)

Last Minute Wedding

Last minute wedding cake made for a coworker of my husband.  Or, really, her stepdaughter.  Top tier is raspberry cake with white chocolate buttercream filling, bottom tier is white cake with raspberry filling.  Fondant covered and accents, real ribbon, fresh flowers.  Tough to see, but the bottom was piped in with light pink icing, like the last cake.

Pink Flowers Wedding Cake

Pink Flowers wedding cake. #2 wedding of the summer done! Unfortunately it was so hot where the cake table was set up, I believe the cake began to sag a bit. I know the fondant was sweating! Top to bottom: White Chocolate Raspberry cake with raspberry cream filling, french vanilla cake with fresh strawberry filling, white cake with fresh raspberry filling.  I'm embarrassed to post the last pic, but it wasn't the cake that was leaning. Literally, I know the table was slanted. It was set up on a slanted piece of the patio! Not my fault! But this is all I have to show you the base. :(

Cake Makes it Better

Throw-together cake for a friend who had a bad day.  I always say, cake makes everything better. :)  Not great, but it literally was a throw-together.  White cake with fresh strawberry buttercream icing and filling.  Fondant/gumpaste flowers and bow.
