Rockin' Hippie Cake for my daughter's 8th birthday. Made to match her invitations and decorations. Tie dye cake, fondant covered with fondant accents, and painted with petal dust.  The napkin is there for comparison. :)

Charity Wedding Cake

Wedding cake I was asked to make and donate just a week ago for a bride who has no family, and a couple with no money.  Top and Bottom tiers are white almond sour cream cake with vanilla butterceam filling. Middle layer is Red Velvet with white chocolate buttecream filling. Real lace & ribbon, artificial flowers.

70th Birthday Cake

70th birthday cake for my husband's uncle.  A hodge-podge of a few things about him: loves his recliner, collected records, loves the Red Sox, likes murder mysteries and loves gardening.  The pink ice skates refer to a story from his childhood regarding his sister's skates.  Chocolate fudge cake with ganache filling, fondant covered, fondant details.

Baptism Bubbles Cake

I put up a cake for a charity auction, and this is what the winners chose, a baptism cake for the little girl's LDS baptism. Posted with the little girl's mother's permission. The picture is the only item that isn't edible. Flavors from top down: amaretto with almond buttercream filling, cheesecake flavored cake with raspberry cheese filling, vanilla with strawberry filling. Dimetrodon Cake

Dimetrodon cake made for a friend's son's 4th birthday. Chocolate and Vanilla swirl pound cake filled with ganache. Fondant covered with fondant and gumpaste accents.

Ibanez Guitar Cake

Guitar cake for my nephew's 14th birthday - a replica of his actual guitar, though I don't know how close I came.  Chocolate & vanilla swirl pound cake, fondant covered with fondant accents.  The strings are silver cording (used in sewing).  The neck was foam board.
